The 3 days Rwanda gorilla safari is a perfect short package set for you get up close to a group of mountain gorillas while in their natural habitat. It takes you to northwestern Rwanda to Volcanoes National Park where a section of mountain gorillas thrive that make up about 1004 individuals worldwide today. The 3 days Rwanda gorilla tour starts and ends in Kigali.

Day 1: Kigali city tour-drive to Volcanoes National Park
Land in Kigali International Airport or hotel in Kigali early enough and after, pick up by our driver guide ready to set off on a quick city tour in Kigali. While on a Kigali city tour, pay a visit to some of the exceptional historical sites including the Gisozi genocide site for you to explore more about the 1994 Rwanda genocide. Later, proceed to northwestern Rwanda to Volcanoes National Park. Arrive early enough to dine and spend a night at Kinigi Guesthouse (Budget), Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Bisate lodge (Luxury) or La Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Midrange)

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Begin the day with a tasty cup of tea or Rwanda coffee and after, join other visitors at the park headquarters for briefing on the set safety measures for gorilla trekking. You will be allocated to 1 habituated family to track in a group of 8 visitors. Make sure that you have your packed snacks and bottled water with you to keep you energized so as to make a complete hike while in search for these creatures. This primate adventure may last you about 4 to 6 hours and only 1 hour is given to you to strike your imaginations with these fascinating creatures, take their photos as many as possible and also explore more about their unique behaviors and body gestures. After, that magical encounter and memorial experience, return to the lodge and have and lunch and then in the evening, you have a nature walk which offers you opportunity to explore the hidden treasures within the diverse habitats in this park. You will also visit the scenic Twin Lakes and after, return to have a rest, dinner and overnight stay at Kiningi Guesthouse (Budget), Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Bisate lodge (Luxury) or La Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Midrange).

Day 3: Return to Kigali

Following early morning breakfast at your respective lodge, check out and after, either you embark on golden monkey tracking or make a return journey to Kigali which marks the end of your 3 days Rwanda gorilla safari
