Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up, Kigali city tour – Transfer to Bwindi Forest
Upon your arrival at Kigali International airport, meet our driver guide and go for a city tour through Kigali. Visit different tourist spots including Kigali genocide memorial site, Kigali convention center, art galleries and shopping malls. You will later cross to Uganda through Cyanika/Gatuna border and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking &Gorilla Batwa community visit

Wake up very early to have a cup of coffee, get your packed lunch and transfer to the respective Bwindi park head quarters for briefing about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. You will be put together in a group of eight allocated a gorilla family to trek. At 8:00am, start off the hike to meet the endangered gorillas. Hiking time may be as short as 30 minutes to several hours depending on where mountain gorillas will be located that day. Spend an hour with gorillas, learn about their human like behaviors, take pictures, capture videos and enjoy how each gorilla plays a different role in a family. If time allows, you may visit Batwa community villages to experience and learn about their traditional forest life. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali

After morning breakfast, check out and cross to Rwanda for your connecting fight at Kigali International airport.
